This Publishing & Content Policy describes how content is submitted, published, and maintained on Vidwana, and the standards we expect.
Submitting works
- Authors can submit their own work, and publishers or conference organizers can submit on behalf of researchers.
- Submissions should include accurate metadata — title, authors, abstract, date, and where applicable a DOI, journal, or conference.
- Only submit work you are authorised to share.
Authorship and claiming
Every named author receives a profile. If an author has not yet registered, their profile is "unclaimed" and can be claimed later by registering with a matching name. Please represent authorship honestly.
Journals and conferences
- Journals and conferences are created and managed by verified publishers and organizers, subject to administrator approval before going public.
- Existing journals and conferences can be claimed by the responsible party, who then maintains their profile and papers.
Citation metrics
Reads are counted on Vidwana. Citation counts are drawn from public scholarly databases using identifiers such as DOIs, and reflect the best available external data.
Corrections and removals
If you believe a work has been submitted incorrectly, infringes rights, or should be corrected or removed, contact us. We review such requests and act where appropriate.
Integrity
We do not allow plagiarism, fabricated content, or misleading metadata. Accounts that abuse the platform may be suspended.
