In the light of the study of the texts of the poetic collection (verse) of the poet Ghassan al-Hajjaj, one of the poets of the contemporary province of Basra, he tries to identify the rhetorical and linguistic diversity in Ghassan Al-Hajjaj's poetry, The style that characterized his poetry as a contemporary poetry represents the modernity of poetry language style and formulation, as well as the selection of vocabulary to maintain the poetic rhythm
