Abstract

This paper is about John Dewey, the educationist of the twentieth century, talks about his thoughts on education, and writings, which paved another course to education in this century. Dewey's commitments are huge and overpowering in education, legislative issues, humanism and rationale. This writing will center on Dewey’s philosophy when it comes to teaching methodologies, academic issues, and the connections that he made between education, society, democracy and experience. The child is the center of his educational thoughts. Due to his democratic tendencies in search of freedom, value of child experiences, Dewey’s ideas were grounded as the centerpiece of his philosophies.
